The Steering Group has set out a plan to complete the Neighbourhood Plan by mid 2027. This includes gathering community views, exploring different options, drafting the plan, and then moving through examination, a local vote, and final approval. Updates will be shared on our website, including any changes to the timeline. We are hoping the formal adoption of the plan will be in July 2027
The Steering Group proposed the Neighbourhood Plan area to the Parish Council, which gave its approval. The area was then formally designated by the District Council.
Community consultations are an essential part of creating a Neighbourhood Plan, giving residents the opportunity to share their views, ideas, and concerns about local development. Two consultation events were held at Snells Hall in May where residents gave their thoughts on what the plan should cover.
This review will take place with the Parish Council. The vision and themes will reflect the input from community consultation and engagement with stakeholders over the summer
